Planet Protectors is a globally recognized environmental organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the Earth’s natural ecosystems. Founded with the mission to inspire, educate, and empower individuals and communities, Planet Protectors strives to address the world’s most pressing environmental challenges through impactful initiatives, collaborative efforts, and innovative solutions.

What Have We Done?
A large-scale tree-planting initiative aimed at restoring degraded forests and preserving endangered and endemic plant species. In collaboration with Vallibel Power Erathna PLC and the Forest Department of Sri Lanka, this project emphasizes reforestation, conservation of rare species, and environmental sustainability.
Nalanda Forest Reserve: The project began with planting 3,000 endangered plants in the Nalanda Forest Reserve.
Geo-Tagging Technology: Every tree planted is geo-tagged and tracked using the DP Tree Book web app, ensuring transparency and long-term monitoring.
An educational campaign designed to create a global network of environmentally conscious individuals who are equipped with the knowledge and tools to drive meaningful change.
In collaboration with Asia Rugby, this initiative plants a tree for every try scored in official rugby matches across Asia. Under the leadership of Group Captain Nalin De Silva, this project bridges the gap between sports and environmental stewards
The Earth Summit is an annual global gathering focused on addressing environmental challenges. Each summit unites experts, policymakers, activists, and youth to develop actionable solutions.
A marine conservation initiative focused on cleaning and protecting our oceans from plastic pollution. Since its launch in May 2023, Planet Protectors has:
Removed over 5 tons of plastic waste from the southern coast of Sri Lanka.
